Afterall, this has a guy flying around in a metal suit at supersonic speeds. Not bloody likely.

That said, this is a great movie, and more thoughtful than most in this genre. The plot (spoiler if you are one of the last 3 people on earth who haven't seen this), involves a mega arms manufacturer that ends up supplying both the good guys (the US Army) and the bad guys (terrorists in the middle east). As anyone who studies global arms dealing, that actually happens. No one should believe for an instant that black market arms dealers just happen to have access to huge weapons supplies without the collaboration of governments, and maybe manufacturers. Ironman gets points for covering this unsavory business, even when our news organs shy away from investigation and reporting on the issue.

The actors all give a great performance, with Robert Downey Jr., being truly outstanding here. This is a great film, and his highly recommended. Rent, download, buy, whatever - it will be worth it.
