The Pentax K-20d offers semi-pro capabilities at entry level pricing.
With its K-20d, Pentax released one of the most capable DSLRs on the market, at prices other manufacturers have struggled to match. It's 14.6 megapixel APS-C size sensor is capable of great hi-res photography, while the camera body can accept the wide variety of great Pentax lenses, plus third party lenses that are available for Pentax mounts. For serious shooters, the K-20d is a bargain. The comparative camera from Canon, the EOS 50D, is a few hundred dollars more expensive.
The K-20d features:
- 14.6 megapixel CMOS sensor
- Shake reduction mechanism
- 2.7 inch LCD monitor with live view
- Dust removal system
