This is a great camera, it really is. If you're looking to use for professional photography, move along. Cmon, it's a $175 camera from Amazon.

This thing is waterproof to 16 feet (you can shoot HD video underwater).
Coldproof to 14 or 16 degrees fahrenheit.
Shockproof to almost 4 feet.

It can shoot HD video. If you have a nice light source like a bright day, the video is quite excellent.

It's very small and compact and meant to be used for things like extreme sports.

It's small enough to put in the pocket of a lifejacket vest, coat pocket, pants pocket, etc... you can bring it canoeing, kayaking, jet skiing, etc...

All in all, I'd recommend. Pick one up and have some fun.

Pros Extremely durable. Small and very compact, great for bringing on trips or extreme sporting events. Waterproof, shockproof, and coldproof!
Cons Picture quality isn't as nice as a Canon for the same amount, but keep in mind it's not built for that. The Canon can't go through what this can.

When recording in HD, only lets you record 11 minutes straight. You have to stop and restart to get another 11 minutes.

If you're looking for a camera that can stand up to abuse, look no further. Pentax has a great reputation for durability. If that is your priority, this is your camera.
