With the Accent for 2009, you can get basic reliable transportation that won't break the bank at the gas pump, and that still comes with some acceptable sport and luxury items.
Available in 3 trim levels, GS and SE 3-door and GLS 4 door sedan, there's probably an Accent model that is right for you. The cars get Hyundai's 1.6 L engine across the board, but the SE 3-door also comes with a sport tuned suspension and B&M racing sport shifter. B&M has been making race prep aftermarket performance shifters for year, so to find one in an entry level Hyundai is refreshing indeed. It's yet another reason why other auto manufacturers should be looking over their shoulders at Hyundai.
As we said, the basic GS is going cost you less that $10k. The top of the line SE 3-door with the sporty accotrements, is still only going to set you back $15K.
