Based on a story by Ernest Hemingway, a scavenger and local crook are forced to team up together in order to survive which ends in unpredictable plot twists.

"On the run from ruthless smugglers and the police, Arno (Bejamin Bratt), a world-weary scavenger, is hired as a courier for a rich tycoon. When the tycoon's luxury yacht goes down in a violent storm, Arno is forced to partner with a local crook (Armand Assante) and the race is on to salvage the bounty. Forming an uneasy alliance of mutual distrust, the reluctant partners grow increasingly wary which causes them to commit the ultimate betrayal."
